As a mountain biker, there is hardly anything better than discovering new trails and facing challenging routes. But it is often difficult to find suitable tours – especially when you are traveling in a new region.
However, this is no longer a problem thanks to the Komoot app. I’ve used the app extensively over the past few years to explore new mountain bike tours in the Ruhr area and across Europe.
What I particularly appreciate about the Komoot app is the ability to plan and record your own tours. Thanks to these features, I’ve already discovered some great mountain bike rides in the region and beyond that I’ve never ridden before.
I was particularly impressed by the trail network in the Ruhr area, which was completely new to me. With Komoot I was able to quickly get an overview and found some really great routes.
